Visscher Seafood Group expanding presence in Asia

Visscher Seafood Group is excited to announce the establishment of a new sales office in Asia to further develop this growing market with our value-added salmon products. 

Rutger, our new Director of Business Development, will lead the growth of VAP sales in Asia for Visscher Seafood Group. “I’m grateful for the trust placed in me to develop VAP sales to Asia within this impactful organization. I’m very much looking forward to facilitating our customers in this region together with the team.” With two master’s degrees from VU Amsterdam and a background in aviation business, he brings a vast network and extensive expertise in Asian seafood supply chains.

Joining him, Yumei Xie will serve as our sales representative in China. With a bachelor’s degree from The Hague University and significant experience in exporting perishables from Europe to China, she is well-equipped to support our growth in the region. Both will be based in Asia to ensure the best service for our customers.
