Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
2 lemons
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh herbs such as dill or parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Start by preheating your air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 5 minutes.
- While the air fryer is warming up, prepare the salmon. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on a clean work surface.
- Slice one of the lemons into thin rounds. Juice the other lemon to obtain lemon juice.
- Brush both sides of the salmon fillets with olive oil and drizzle them with the fresh lemon juice. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
- Place a few lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets and then put them in the preheated air fryer basket.
- Air fry the salmon for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Check halfway through the cooking time to ensure the salmon is cooked; it should easily flake apart and have a lightly browned crust.
- Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve it immediately. Garnish with fresh herbs like dill or parsley for an extra touch of flavor and color.
