Ingredients
2 slices of whole wheat bread, toasted – 2 ripe avocados
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
100g smoked salmon
Fresh dill, finely chopped
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
- Halve the ripe avocados, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
- Add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the avocado and use a fork to mash and mix until it forms a creamy mixture.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
- Generously spread the creamy avocado mixture onto the toasted slices of whole wheat bread.
- Place thin slices of smoked salmon on top of the avocado spread.
- Sprinkle finely chopped dill over the smoked salmon.
